“Dear Anneka
We are back from our epic adventure in Canada – just wanted to thank you so much for organising such a wonderful trip for us – we really had a fabulous time. It actually worked really well having the hire car in the end and gave us the freedom to explore a bit more. All the hotels were great – Canada is still a bit old fashioned in a charming sort of way hotel wise…
The people were so friendly and we had a variety of weather including snow at Lake Louise – we were canoeing on the lake in 4 degrees! It was magical with the snow on the mountain! Food was delicious and we just loved every moment! All the wildlife came out to see us including bears, ospreys, bald eagles, humpbacks and orcas! We had the best time, so thank you so much for all your help with our trip! I will no doubt be in touch again for a future trip – and some day we would love to go back and see Jasper once it has recovered.”
“We have had a brilliant trip to Singapore and New Zealand. It was amazing. Everything fell into place with no hiccups. We had a trip of a lifetime, Robin managed to smile for the whole 6 weeks…It was a perfect time to visit, long warm days, gardens, lots of museums….The scenery was stunning. Thank you so much for arranging the trip for us”
“Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our short trip to Bologna!! Everything was just perfect and we enjoyed it immensely. You have a great ability to make all the arrangements to allow the traveler to enjoy complete relaxation and fun. Many thanks again. Here’s to the next trip!!”
“…now back in the UK and would like to take the opportunity to thank you for organizing things so well. Everything happened as planned, there were no hiccups, travel connections all good and accommodation was fine with a special mention to the Daintree Eco Lodge which was one of the finest hotels in terms of location that I have stayed in”
“…wanted to say a very big thank you for such a wonderful holiday, it was everything we hoped for and more – a truly magical and memorable holiday that was so well organised and everything went so smoothly without any hiccups at all – you did us proud Anneka so many thanks!”
“We arrived safely back home early Sunday morning and it was a very lovely surprise to open your welcome home card, thank you very much for the thought. We have had such an amazing trip with so many fantastic experiences that will never be forgotten. It is difficult to pick a favourite moment but snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef and seeing the sunrise and set at Uluru are probably at the top of the list. Just to say thank you to yourself and SCT for all your efforts in coming up with such a wonderful itinerary, we have had the most amazing time.”
“Can’t truly express how much I have valued Southern Cross Travel in helping us get this trip right. To see everyone enjoying each day is a gift that words can’t explain… I couldn’t have done it without you and your knowledge and suggestions. So a very sincere thank you from me, you have enabled me to make my family very happy, and as a mum that’s priceless.”
“Anneka at Southern Cross Travel organised our honeymoon in Canada – beginning in Calgary and travelling through to Vancouver. Everything was organised perfectly, all we had to do was follow the comprehensive itinerary that we were given. We saw the National parks, whale watching, bungee jumping and much more in a way that just would not have been possible had we organised it ourselves. Fantastic service and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending using them for organizing a trip away.”
“We are now back again from Sydney and I just wanted to say thank you for making all the arrangements so easy for me. I will definitely recommend my parents use you for their next trip!”
“Spectacular holiday. 4,500 kilometres – 21 beds and 7 flights later – we’ve been there and done it, and in fact we have the T-shirt to prove it. It was marvellous! We have seen scenery to take your breath away – lakes so big that I though they were oceans – played bowls (in Brighton) not on grass but ‘weed’ and two clubs wanted us to join.
Penquin watch – caught up with the blue penguins when they came in from sea at 10 o’clock at night in Oamaru. Found the most magnificent city park in Invercargill (Queens Park) – it was enormous. The trees were just beautiful – rose garden, exotic greenhouse, alpine garden, aviary, children’s garden and café – we were there a whole morning just walking.
Kaikoura – we went whale watching by helicopter. We were excited to see two whales and a group of dolphins on a blistering day of 34 degrees Celsius. The water was so blue it was incredible.
Art museums, toy, vintage cars and plane museum.
Went over Mount Cook by plane and landed on the Tasman Glacier. Gentleman of 88 years came with us who was a World War II fighter pilot.
Being mad enough to do the Shotover Dart River lunatic ride and climb the Sydney bridge at my age!
Went to a cabaret at the Opera House and kept pinching ourselves that we were actually there!
I could go on forever but I am sure you’ve hear it all before!
Bangkok was just unbelievable – it is amazing to see such a wide wealth and poverty gap n the people, and the traffic – well that is just something else. We just stood and watched the traffic police frantically whistling instructions to the motorists – God knows how the motorists knew what they were instructing them to do. We just stood and roared with laughter!
We met so many lovely, genuine and gracious people on holiday, we loved it all. Thanks for all your help…we have had a wonderful holiday”.
“We had a really fantastic holiday – thank you very much for your help and suggestions. We learnt so much from our guide in Siem Reap – the temples were spectacular in all their degrees of decay, but the political and personal histories we heard were also so interesting. Bangkok was…well frenetic (and included getting mildly involved in a student demonstration!) but the late addition of the River Kwai tour was yet another fascinating (and relaxing) experience.
I hope you enjoyed your trip to New Zealand – we were blown over by the sheer beauty of the country and the hospitality of the locals! We resolved our visit to Doubtful Sound by going for a days kayaking – poured with rain resulting in the most spectacular of waterfalls and a truly wonderful fjordland memory!
Thank you again for your help in planning our incredible trip”.
“This is just to say thank you for all the arrangements that you made for us. They all worked perfectly and we had a fantastic time. Thanks again”.
“It’s a great trip. Scenic Tours get full marks so far. We are the only British with 36 Australians! The Athabasca snow ride on the glacier was fun and most interesting. The Rockies are really breathtaking. All good wishes”.
“Well, we made it and we’re having a fantastic time. Off to Cairns tonight. What a country – so many different aspects. We even stopped for breakfast on an outback cattle station. Thanks for making it all happen”.
“Thank you for your help with planning our trip. Everything has run smoothly and we have had a wonderful time. Visiting Sydney has been very memorable”.
“Arrived today at Apollo Bay after three days driving on the Great Ocean Road. Everything has worked like clockwork. We have enjoyed every moment of our holiday so far, from travel, accommodation and the interesting and lovely places we have seen…Many thanks for your organising of this great trip”.
“Having a wonderful time. Here in Cairns at the moment. Raining hard after very humid weather. Thanks so much, everything has gone smoothly. Looking forward to the Oz Experience journey”
“Full marks. Everything perfect. Hotel, location, weather….thank you!”
“Greetings from Bali! Had Tiffin at Raffles! All went well in Singapore and Malaysia. Beautiful sunshine every day – lots of good food at cheap prices. We have met up with lots of friends so far – going up country for a few days”.
“Having a great time. All running like clockwork. Weather, food, people, scenery all wonderful”.
“Having a good time in Myanmar, ground transport is slow and packed but fun. At the moment I’m in Bagan, fascinating place – thousands of temples and ruins, next to Inle Lake and then Yangon.”
(From Thailand) “Weather very hot. Sun factor 20 everyday. Hired out car again and visited many islands by boat. Went snorkelling at Hong Island and took a speedboat to other islands. Great night markets and good food and cocktails. Plenty of sunbathing on Poda, Chichien Island and Phi Phi.”
